Kathmandu, 28 November: The Secretariat meeting  is of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is scheduled for today where the Chairman Khadga Oli put forth his views by refuting the proposal and accusations leveled on him by another Chairman of the party Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the secretariat meeting held on November 13 .His aides have readied the responses to be furnished at the meeting.  The meeting is being held at Prime Minister’s residence in the afternoon.
In the November 18 meeting of the party Secretariat, Oli had sought 10 days time to furnish response to Dahal’s accusation to him. Today’s meeting is taken as a significant event at a time when the exchange of accusations and their release to the public has created suspicion on party unification. In the last meeting, PM Oli had argued that if the accusations leveled on him were not justified, the accusers would take responsibility.

Majority members of  Standing Committee and Central Committee are for unity, consensus and party statute.
Of late, the NCP has witnessed intra-party feud over the issues as appointment of ambassadors, Cabinet reshuffle, dispute in Karnali Province, vendetta among party cadres in Tarai districts, India’s external intelligence  R&AW Chief’s meeting with  Oli, among others.
