Kathmandu, 26 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Thursday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,614 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 9,491 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 227,640.
Among the new cases detected today 785 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 1,437 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 209,435. As of today, there are 16,793 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 23 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1,412, according to MoHP.
