Kathmandu, 21 November: As part of the upcoming 14th National Convention, the Nepali Congress (NC) has directed the district presidents of the party to submit the details of new active members and their renewal within mid-December.

The district working committees should submit the details including documents and membership fees by completing all processes as per the party statute. The number of NC active members, which has key role in selecting party’s leadership, is almost 500,000. The party stated that the number of active members could rise after new distribution, renewal and some others joining from different political parties. The NC has already announced the schedule for the party’s 14th national convention from coming February 19 to 22.
