
Kathmandu, 17 November: As there is deep division between the chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP), the two camps of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) are reported to be active in adding fuel to the fire to split the NCP.
Back in 1997 Bamdev Gautam was aided by the NC to splinter the then Communist Party Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML), having such experience, the NC leaders Prakash Sharan Mahat and Minendra Rijal have lately met the second-rank leaders of NCP Ishwor Pokharel and Narayankaji Shrestha and encourage them for dividing the party, according to Sanghu News.
To repeat the history, the leaders of the NC are actively playing their roles to split NCP and take advantage in the next elections as was in the year 1997.
