Kathmandu, 16 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,197 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 210,973.
Today 2,934 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 176,364. As of today, there are 36,452 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 9 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1,230, according to MoHP.
