Kathmandu, 12 November: The Constitutional Court on 11 November has paved the way for Bamdev Gautam to become the minister. Following the court verdict, political observers have predicted that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli may offer Gautam the position of the senior minister along with the defence portfolio. If PM Oli will make such an offer, it won’t be odd as this could be an outlet for him to end the present crisis he is facing in the party.

However, Jana Aastha online news, which is learnt to be closed to Gautam, has predicted that this time, Gautam may not accept PM Oli’s offer as he is not in a mood to break the present alliance with Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Nepal.

If PM Oli will be able to bring Gautam in his camp, he will hold the majority in the 9-member party Secretariat.
