Kathmandu, 11 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Wednesday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,569 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 10,081 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 202,329.
Among the new cases detected today 1,420 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 1,666 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 162,243. As of today, there are 38,912 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 26 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1,174, according to MoHP.
