Kathmandu, 7 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,753 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 10,423 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 191,636.
Today 2,206 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 155,144. As of today, there are 35,435 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 17 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1087, according to MoHP.
