
Kathmandu, 1 November: Growing deep differences over several issues have pushed the ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP) once again on the verge of split. The Executive Chairman of NCP Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that his fellow chairman and Prime Minister Khadga Oli has suggested him to split the party.
While briefing his confidants at his Khumaltar based residence this afternoon about his meeting with Oli yesterday. Dahal informed that Oli asked him to move forwards separately. The Secretariat members including senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, JhalaNath Khanal, Vice President Bamdev Gautam, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha were present in the briefing. The Secretariat members have urged Dahal to save the party from breakup, according to media reports.
