Kathmandu, 28 October: The cold war in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is getting momentum. Chairmen duo of the party, who are not in talking relations, are trying to regain strength to finish each other.
Of late, Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli tried to meet Madhav Nepal, however, Nepal denied to meet Oli. He is learnt to have advised to Oli to follow the party secretariat’s directives.
Bamdev Gautam, who had played a vital role in ending the dispute between the Oli camp and Dahal camp, has also felt that he has been deceived from Oli once again.
Party’s another chairman Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda is trying to forge the previous grouping among him, Nepal, JN Khanal and Bamdev Gautam. This time, Narayankaji Shrestha has also joined the grouping.
Oli, on the other hand, is being isolated in the party once again.
A highly laced source in the party informed that immediately after the Tihar and Chhat festival, the war inside the party is going to be escalated further. The same source informed that the war in the party may lead to a split of the party. Dahal and his grouping have reached to the conclusion that Oli is not going to listen to the party. If allowed to rule Oli further, the party will face a serious accident, they have analysed.
On the other hand, Oli believes that he has not been allowed to work freehand as the executive chef. His colleagues have tried to fail him in all sectors, Oli has felt.
