Kathmandu, 25 October: The Nepali Congress (NC) has called off its annual tea-reception that is organized every year on Kojagrat Purnima, the concluding day of the Dashain festival.
Citing the risk of corona virus, the main opposition party has decided not to organize the event on October 30 this yerar.
NC has been hosting tea party on on Kojagrat Purnima since 2035 BS to mark the return of its prominent leader BP Koirala from India to Nepal in 2033 BS with the policy of national reconciliation.
