Kathmandu, 22 October: Gorkha Brewery, a multinational company run by the Khetan Group, which is producing beers with different international brand, is found manufacturing beers without maintaining the quality and standard. Besides, the company is filing one after another case in the court to escape the government tax.
The Brewery is found trying to influence court judges, reports Rajdhani daily.
Earlier, three judges in the Pokhara High Court were dismissed on the allegation of giving the verdict in favour of the Brewery.
The Brewery is found producing beers by using spoiled rice dust instead of barley. The Internal Revenue Department has initiated an investigation against the company.
