Kathmandu, 20 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 3,093 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 139,129.
Among the new cases detected today, 1,702 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 2,108 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 96,609. As of today, there are 41,775 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of eight people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 765, according to MoHP
