Kathmandu, 18 October: The power tussle between the Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party NCP Khadga Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal has heightened tensions in the party.
Though Oli and Dahal last month had agreed to patch up their differences to settle the discontent that had been brewing in the party, Oli has vexed Dahal by unilaterally appointing three ministers. After the appointment of these three ministers Dahal and Oli are now in incommunicado. Dahal has denied to hold parleys with Oli since then.
As Oli ignored the recommendation of the six-member panel relating to Cabinet reshuffle at the centre and change in State government leaderships, Dahal is reported to have been irked by Oli and denied to sit for talks, according to media reports.
