
Kathmandu, 17 October: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has made public the names of 286 human rights violators, including security agencies and civil servants.
Releasing a report on the implementation status of the recommendations made by the NHRC to the government since its establishment in 2000 for necessary action, the right watchdog revealed the name of all rights violators.
Based on the complaints of human rights violation registered from 2000-2020, the NHRC has recommended 1,195 cases of human rights violations to the government for providing relief and compensation to the victims and acting against the perpetrators.
