Kathmandu, 17 October: Three more electronic crematoriums are being built at the Pasupathi Area with the financial support of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
An agreement to this effect has been signed between the Member Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), Pradeep Dhakal, and Chief Administrative Officer Eknarayan Aryal. The KMC has allocated a budget of Rs.15 billion for the construction of crematorium.
The new crematories would be much more efficient than the existing crematories in terms of accomplishing the task in short time duration, according to PADT.
