Kathmandu, 14 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Wednesday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,638 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 117,996.

Among the new cases detected today, 1,403 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 2,174 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 80,954. As of today, there are 36,367 active cases of infection across the country.
