Kathmandu, 13 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 3,556 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 115,358.

Among the new cases detected today, 2,139 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 1,503 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 78,780. As of today, there are 35,915 active cases of infection across the country.

Meanwhile, eighteen new fatalities have been reported on Tuesday. With the latest addition, the death toll has reached 663, according to MoHP.
