Kathmandu, 12 October: Bijay Rana, the Chief Investigating officer of Revenue Investigation office, Butwal has been apprehended with Rs. 200,000 as bribe.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Rana on the charge of collecting bribe amount on monthly basis from Anil Kumar Jha, a local sugar trader. Rana was arrested red-handed by the CIAA team on Sunday, according to a press statement issued by the CIAA.
