Kathmandu, 12 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 4,047 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 111,802.

Among the new cases detected today, 2,283 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 1,473 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 77,277. As of today, there are 33,880 active cases of infection across the country.
