Kathmandu, 11 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,071 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 107,755.

Among the new cases detected today, 1,416 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 1,552 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 75,804. As of today, there are 31,315 active cases of infection across the country.
