Kathmandu, 10 October: Financial irregularities and anomalies are rampant in local levels governments. They are found spending money from state coffer recklessly. An example of it has emerged recently in Nagarjun Municipality of Kathmandu.

The Municipality has spent Rs 652 thousand to fell eight trees on Sitapaila-Ramkot-Bhimdhunga road and it has not maintained the record of income received from the sale of the timber obtained from those trees, according to NayaPatrika daily.
