Kathmandu, 6 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,551 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 90,814.
Among the new cases detected today, 1,017 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 2,340 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 67,542. As of today, there are 22,709 active cases of infection across the country.
