Kathmandu, 21 September: Sixteen more Covid-19 fatalities have been reported today. This is the highest single-day record so far. Of the deceased, three are female and 13 are male.  With the latest addition, death-toll from corona virus infection in the country has reached 427.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three females, one each from Makawanpur, Lalitpur and Dolahka passed away in course of treatment. Moreover, among the deceased male, two each from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Banke district while one each from Jhapa, Sunsari, Parsa, Makawanpur, Chitwan, Lalaitpur and  Rupandehi succumbed to the deadly virus.
