Kathmandu, 17 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day.  On Thursday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,246 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 59,537

Today 1,243 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery.  With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 42,949. As of today, there are 16,241 active cases of infection across the country.
