Kathmandu, 13 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day.  On Saturday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,039 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours.  With the latest addition of infection cases, the national tally has jumped to 54,159. Among the infected, 365 are females and 674 are males.

Today 1,173 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery.  With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 38,697. As of today, there are 15,117 active cases of infection across the country.
