Kathmandu, 12 September: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was not in a mood to attend the party Standing Committee meeting called at his own official residence in Baluatar on 11 September, reports Jana Aastha online portal.
When Nepal Communist Party co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal got such an information, he met to Oli earlier to the Standing Committee meeting and requested the later just to show his presence.
Oli addressed the meeting for 15 minutes and left the meeting venue.
It can easily be understood that Oli is not satisfied from latest developments in the party and he is still on his own stance.
The meeting was concluded after endorsing the reports presented by chairmen duo, Oli and Dahal.
Now onward, the chairmen duo, after consultation with the Secretariat, have to take decisions in the party. On political appointments also, there should be discussion at the party Secretariat on the issue.
The meeting was concluded after 13 standing committee members addressed the meeting.
Madhav Nepal, addressing the party, raised the issue of rule of law and system in running the party. He said that technically the mechanism of two chairmen cannot function.
