Kathmandu, 10 September: The top brasses of the ruling Nepal Communist Party have reached a consensus to endorse the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact with necessary amendments, as per the recommendation of the six-member task force headed by party’s General Secretary Bishnu Poudel. 

NCP Chairmen duo during a meeting on Wednesday, agreed to put forth a proposal at the Standing Committee meeting slated for  Friday for the endorsement of it. One the ruling party endorses it, parliamentary proceedings on it will be taken forward in the next session of the House.
