Despite efforts of some pro-Congress journals to project the view that Nepali Congress President Krishna Prasad Bhattarai and former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirila these days see eye-to-eye on important political issues, it was made pretty clear that such hardly the case. Indeed, at the press conference following the conclusion of a three day “central training seminar” on the Nepali Congress, Bhattarai made it clear that the first priority for his party was not to replace the UML government with a coalition led by his party.
