Kathmandu, 3 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Thursday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,228 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 42,877. Among the fresh cases, 445 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Today 917 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 24,207. As of today, there are 18,670 active cases of infection across the country.
