Kathmandu, 2 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day.  On Wednesday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,120 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 41,649.  Among the fresh cases, 388 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.

Today 1,112 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery.  With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 23,290. As of today, there are 18,359 active cases of infection across the country.
