Kathmandu, 24 July : Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has said the Nepal government was ever cautious of Nepal's relations with the neighbouring countries and their sensitivities. At a meeting of the International Relations Committee of the Federal Parliament, the minister said comments should not be made in a way to hurt the cultural, religious, linguistic and ethnic sensitivity. "Fact-based expressions should be made in a balanced manner. Our imbalanced expressions invite enmity".
In the committee's meeting on the agenda of the protection of archeologically important places, Minister Bhattarai said it would not be wise to articulate opinion without proof and based on unsubstantiated matters. The minister was referring to a recent comment of Prime Minister Khadga Oli about the birthplace of Hindu Lord-Ram.
