
Kathmandu, 23 May: The government has totally failed to manage the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Until now, the government has become successful in keeping people inside the home by prolonging continuous lockdown, however, it has been unable to conduct other measures to control the pandemic, reports state.
The government has conducted very few number of PCR test to identify the infection among the people. Until now, around ten thousand PCR tests have been conducted, which is very less to identify actual number of pandemic infection. Accordingly, the government has totally failed to stop movement of the people from one place to another as well as it has failed to manage people arrived from India, where pandemic has spread widely.
Quarantine areas are not scientific, thus, they have become the venue for transmitting the pandemic to the group.
Along with lockdown, the government had to totally stop movement of people from one district to another district and conduct PCR test widely. Also, the government had to conduct PCR test upon arrival of the people from India in border points, experts say.
