Kathmandu, 18 May : The total number of corona virus infection in Nepal has reached 357 with 53 new cases reported today. Forty seven persons  in  Banke alone tested positive for COVID-19. The infected persons include 46 men and a woman, according to the Health Ministry of Health and Population. They all have been confirmed positive by the laboratory at Bheri Hospital. In addition to 47 cases in Banke, one case each were reported from Morang, Gulmi,Dhanusha, Rautahat, Dang and Dhading.  So far two persons  succumbed to the deadly virus while 36 have returned home after recovery.
