Kathmandu, 15 May: Former King Gyanendra has obtained vehicle pass to travel to Kathmandu from Damak, Jhapa. Former King and Queen Aishwarya were stuck in Damak since sudden lockdown in the country due the coronavirus pandemic. The former King had received vehicle pass to travel to Kathmandu from Jhapa District Administration Office, however, on Thursday, the Home Ministry had suspended the permission. After strong criticism in social media regarding suspension of the permission to the former head of the nation, the Home Ministry was compelled to issue pass for the Royal Family to travel to Kathmandu, reports Canada Nepal online news portal.
