Kathmandu, 17 April : The Insurance Board (IB) has directed the insurance companies to issue policies covering the COVID-19 infection. According to IB, directed the non-life insurance companies to issue a policy covering coronavirus through the insurance pool, a form of risk management that is in practice in the insurance market. The insurance sector regulator has stated that the insurance polices should be as for the policy for critical illness.
