Kathmandu, 20 January:The Kathmandu Valley has witnessed an inflation increment by average 7.60 percent in the past five months during the current fiscal year, 2076/77 as compared to 3.68 percent during the same period in the FY 2075/76, according to five month's data during the current FY, 2076/77 on current macroeconomic and financial situation of Nepal released on by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). Likewise, the Tarai witnessed 6.66 percent inflation, 5.27 percent in the Hills and 4.83 percent in Mountain as compared to 3.65 percent in the Tarai during the same period in the previous FY, 2075/76, 3.84 percent in the Hills and 4.05 in Mountain. Export has accelerated 27 percent to Rs 47.62 billion from 12.7 percent in the previous FY, 2075/76.
