By Our Reporter Machhapuchre Bank Ltd, with the goal of managing working capital for small farmers in agriculture business, has introduced Kishan Card. The Bank, in collaboration with the UK Aid’s Capable Apex to Finance Programme and Heifer International-Nepal, has planned to distribute such Cards to farmers from 14 districts. A farmer can get four hundred thousand rupees as agriculture loan through the Card. In the first phase, farmers associated with Heifer International Nepal in Khajura Rural Municipality in Banke – Shajha Fulbari Udhami Mahila Sahakari – will get the Kishan Card. Farmers with such a card can enjoy banking facilities from branchless banking counters of the Bank.
