Kathmandu, 14 January : Controversial businessman and the operator of B & C Medical College in Jhapa, Durga Prasain, has filed a complaint against the vice-chair of Medical Education Commission Shree Krishna Giri at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA)Last week, Prasain had claimed that Giri demanded Rs 200 million in bribe to grant affiliation to his medical college. Giri, however, had denied the charge. Organising a news conference in Kathmandu today, Prasain informed that he had filed a complaint at the CIAA and the Department of Money Laundering Investigation restating the claim.He has also warned that he would move to the court if the commission did not investigate into it.
