Kathmandu, 12 January: due to dispute between Nepal Communist Party chairman-duo – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and executive chairman Pushpakamal Dahal in selection of speaker, the House meeting called for today has been postponed till 1 pm 20 January. PM Oli wants to reward Subhas Nembang to the post of speaker, whereas, Dahal is claiming the post for former Maoist Center. Speaker’s post has remained vacant after Krishnabahadur Mahara tendered resignation on the charge of sexual abuse on a lady staffer in the Parliament secretariat. People’s News Monitoring Service
