Kathmandu, 12 January: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Kamal Thapa has demanded the government to issue currency notes with the portrait of late Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal.
Addressing a tea reception hosted by RPP to mark the 298th birth anniversary of late King Shah, Thapa urged the government to bring currency notes with the portrait of Prithvi Narayan Shah to promote the feeling of national unity among the Nepalis.
