Kathmandu, 11 January: Rastriya Prajatantra Party has scheduled to observe Great King Prithivi Narayan Shah’s birth anniversary by hosting tea reception Sunday afternoon. RPP chairman Kamal Thapa has invited political leaders, heads of diplomatic missions, intellectuals, academicians, youths to attend the reception. The reception is taking place at the Mahendra Police Club in Exhibition Road from 1 pm to 3 pm tomorrow. Every year, RPP is observing Prithivi anniversary as the national unity day. RPP has also demanded national holiday on Prihhivi anniversary remembering contribution of King Prithivi, founder of modern Nepal. People’s News Monitoring Service
