
Kathmandu, 11 January: Former King Gyanendra, who is worried from present state of the nation, has expressed serious concern on independence, peace and indivisibility of the country.
Extending greetings on the occasion of the 298
th birth anniversary of Great King Prithivi Naarayan Shah, founder on modern Nepal, the former King has stated that Nepal should remain an independent, peaceful and indivisible nation forever.
The former King has stated that strong efforts are needed to safeguard the country’s territory and prosperity of the nation.
Attempts for curtailing voices in favour of protecting soil, curtailing voices in favour of national indivisibility and glory and creating unnecessary controversary against the nation should not be done from any of the sectors.
“Truth will never be defeated, self-pride will never die”, the former King has said.
The former King has recalled that the Divya Upadesh of the Great King Prithivi is still significant and relevant in formation of modern Nepal.
