Kathmandu, 11 January : The construction of two Melamchi Drinking Water Processing Centres has been completed at Sundarijal, Kathmandu. According to Melamchi Drinking Water Development Committee, each centre has the capacity of processing 8.5 million litres of water on a daily basis.
 In total, the two processing centres would daily process total 170 million litres of water which will be supplied to the households in the Kathmandu Valley.Committee's Information Officer Rajendra Prasad Pant informed that one processing centre was built in assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and another in aid of the Asian Development Bank.
