Kathmandu, 2 January :  Itahari-based reporter of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Yam Pradhan passed away at his residence in Itahari this morning. Pradhan was 52. Pradhan leaves behind his wife and a daughter.A senior journalist in the district, Pradhan was suffering from kidney problems. Regarded as a mentor of journalism in Sunsari, Pradhan also served as the chairman of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Sunsari chapter in the past. Demise of Pradhan is an irreparable loss to journalism, FNJ Sunsari chapter chairman Ammar Khadka made his comment.FNJ, Press Union, Press Organization Nepal and other organizations have expressed grief over the demise of senior journalist Pradhan.FNJ Sunsari chapter has expressed its deep condolence to the bereaved family members on this hour of grief, chair Khadka said.
