On behalf of Deuba, Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi went to Poudel's residence on Monday, who had been publicly saying that his group will not sit in dialogue with Deuba unless the former rectify his unilateral move. According to media reports, Nidi tried to convince Poudel and asked him to resolve all issues through dialogue within the party. Nidi also informed Poudel that President Deuba had prepared to convene Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on January 1, and requested him to take part in it and put forth his views. "The party has to finalize the candidates for the upcoming election of National Assembly and it is imperative that (he) Poudel and his followers be present in the CWC meeting," Nidhi is quoted as saying to Poudel.
