Kathmandu, 26 December : The meeting of the National Assembly today discussed the Revenue Leakage (Investigation and Control) First Amendment Bill-2075BS passed by the House of Representatives.
The bill has a provision to slap high and low fine to those depending on the extent of revenue leakage by them, considering two principles that increment in fine alone cannot control the leakage or there lacks action against those behind the leakage, said Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada responding to queries raised in the meeting.
