Kathmandu, 22 December: The Yeti Group is found expanding its business empire by exploiting the government property influencing political leaders in power. The Group is found developing its empire by exploiting the property belonging to the Sagarmatha National Park, Narayanhitti Palace Museum, among others, Nagarik daily has reported. The Group is doing business by leasing or capturing property under different government organs. Gokarna Resort, Nepal Trust, Pathibhara Darshan Cable Car, resort in Sagarmatha Base Camp are the organizations run by the Group in government property. The Group is trying to capture the Naryanhitti Palace Museum and run a restaurant there.  By exploiting the state authority, the Group is expanding its business empire even by amending laws and also changing concerned board members. The Group has been able to extend the lease tenure of the Gokarna Resort for next 25 years through a cabinet decision recently.
