Kathmandu, 22 December: At a time when the standing committee meeting of the Nepal Communist Party was taking place at the party headquarters in Dhumbaharai, a group of standing committee members were absent on Saturday. Due to their absence, the meeting was delayed.
Executive chairman Pushpakamal Dahal became fire when he knew that the members were gone to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.
Later, when the members entered the meeting venue, chairman Dahal questioned them that why they had visited the President without informing the party chairman. Also, he was fire with the President for inviting the standing committee members coinciding the meeting.
Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali had to give clarification to the party chairman about the meeting with the President.
Gyawali had informed that President Bhandari had called them to know about the economic situation of the nation.
President Bhanari has fallen into controversy after she has shown interests on party affairs. Earlier too, Dahal and PM KP Sharma Oli had visited the President to finalize the deal on sharing power in the party and the government.
