Kathmandu, 21 December: The Nalgad municipality in Jajarkot has ensured solar energy facility in those health facilitieis with no access to electricity as the local government seeks to make health services effective and rural people-centric.
Health institutions at ward no 3, 7 and 12 have now access to solar energy which has made the operation of maternity and pathology services easier, reports RSS. With the availability of solar energy, there is improvement in the service delivery system, it is said. In lack of electricity, health facilities here were taking help of mobile phone, torch and traditional lamps to render services.
